Due to our continued growth, Electrogear is looking for a Production Wiring Operator to join our team building electrical and electronic assemblies. This hands-on role includes wire harness assembly, cable looms, soldering, connector termination, and system builds using engineering drawings and schematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies
- Assemble prototype electrical systems and control panels
- Read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Perform soldering and connector termination
- Carry out continuity and basic electrical testing
- Work with engineers to resolve wiring issues
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Required:
- 2+ years experience in electrical or electronic assembly
- Experience with crimp tools, soldering irons, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred:
- IPC certifications such as IPC WHMA-A-620 or IPC J-STD-001
