We are looking for a meticulous and detail-orientated CMM Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the department and is crucial to the success and growth of the company, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position is responsible for examining manufactured and purchased parts for defects or deviations from the component drawing in line with the company’s expectations and partaking in technical discussions to both resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.

This position reports to the QHSE Manager and is based at our site in Holton Heath. The main elements of the position will be:

  • Creation of CNCCMM programs and maintenance of this resource
  • Creation and maintenance of programs and processes to enable use of automated measurement equipment
  • Performing first off, roving and final inspection of components and assemblies
  • Liaising with other departments on engineering issues
  • Leading and contributing to technical discussions with peers
  • Segregating defect parts and reviewing data
  • Providing regular constructive feedback on assigned tasks and department productivity, highlighting in a timely manner when issues occur/targets will not be met
  • Carrying out general administration and housekeeping
  • Assisting in maintaining Company H&S and quality standards
  • Conducting any other ad-hoc activities considered appropriate by the QHSE Manager when necessary
