Job Description
At Electro Installations (Scotland) Ltd, we’ve built a strong reputation over the years for delivering high-quality electrical solutions to commercial and industrial clients across Scotland.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for experienced Electricians to join our skilled and friendly team to work across various locations across Scotland.
Our main office is located in Maybole; however, travel to this site is not required. We currently have positions available based in Prestwick, as well as a mobile role that involves travel across Scotland. For the mobile position, we are ideally seeking candidates based in the Central Belt.
Key Responsibilities
You'll play a key role in delivering reliable electrical services across a variety of commercial and industrial sites. Your day-to-day will include:
- Installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and industrial sites
- Conducting inspections and testing
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns throughout the plant
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment
- Work collaboratively within a multi-skilled engineering team
- Install, commission, and modify equipment and services as required
- Ensure all maintenance and modification documentation is kept up to date
- Identify and report equipment faults or signs of failure
- Follow safe isolation/de-isolation procedures in line with permit-to-work protocols
- Support other engineering tasks as directed by the Electrical Supervisor
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and engineering discipline
Essential Skills and Experience
- At least 4 years’ experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
- Strong skills in cable containment systems
- Up-to-date IEE Wiring Regulations qualification
- Valid SJIB grade card
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills and Experience
·      CompEx certification – full training can be provided
·      City & Guilds 2391 – full training can be provided
·      Experience in hazardous area environments
