We are seeking a distinctive Voice-Over Artist to bring our stories to life.
This role involves more than just reading scripts — it requires inhabiting them. We want someone who can deliver narration with depth, clarity, humor, and emotional insight — understanding pacing, holding attention subtly, and allowing ideas to breathe.

Responsibilities
- Record voice-over for scripted video essays (initially 1–2 videos/month, with potential for more)
- Maintain a consistent tone and personality for the channel’s voice
- Help shape the long-term sound identity of fern, building audience recognition and trust
- Collaborate with producers to enhance pacing, tone, and clarity of narration
Requirements
- Open to male or female applicants
- Fluent in English; Nordic accent is a plus
- Unique, memorable voice, clearly not AI-generated
- Natural, raw, emotionally in-tune tone — not overly theatrical; journalism-style sound
- Genuine interest in topics like politics, society, history, and culture
- Comfort reading long-form, essay-style scripts with clarity and subtlety
- Willingness to commit to approximately 60–90 minutes of VO recording per video
- Ability to deliver clean, finished audio tracks
- Skill in identifying script issues or factual inaccuracies

- Quiet, suitable recording environment
- Own audio equipment (microphone, interface, etc.)
