Electrify Video Partners is a dynamic new digital media company that invests in and scales creators with an established YouTube presence. Our mission is to turn creators into global media businesses by building teams, scaling the production and distribution of their content and introducing new revenue streams across platforms. We acquire between 50% and 100% of creator businesses. We have raised multiple funding rounds and have invested in a variety of leading channels, including Veritasium, Mentour Pilot, Simple History, Astrum & Astrum Earth, and Fern.

About the role
At Electrify, we\’re committed to putting data and technology at the heart of our decision making – that\’s why we\’re seeking an Applied AI Engineer to work directly with some of the most exciting creators and channels on YouTube.
Reporting directly to the Director of Data and Technology, you’ll be responsible for building agentic workflows and data pipelines to optimise our creators’ performance and growth.
What your first 6 months may look like:
- Launch an internal agentic tool aimed at improving efficiency and quality.
- Improve the speed and reliability of our data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and ship production-grade agentic workflows in Python (ideally using LangGraph).
- Support CI/CD and infra for AI services (ideally using Docker, Cloud Run & GitHub Actions).
- Optimise the cost and performance of AI services.
- Run experiments (A/B testing, user studies) on AI services, analyse impact and feed insights back into the roadmap.
- Uphold code quality (typing, tests, linting), lead reviews and mentor teammates on best practices.
- Document playbooks and create reusable components to speed up feature integration across teams.
- Contribute to the development, testing and maintenance of fast, reliable data pipelines when required.
Skills and experience
- BSc in a STEM subject.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AI/ML/Data Engineer.
- Experience in applying LLMs and developing, testing and deploying agentic systems in Python (ideally LangGraph)
- Deep knowledge of Python and relevant libraries (LangChain, LangGraph, FastAPI, Pydantic, etc)
- Experience in designing, building, testing, deploying and maintaining data pipelines (ideally using Airflow/Cloud Composer)
- Experience in deploying DevOps processes (Github, Docker, CI/CD in GitHub Actions, deploying in GCP)
- Experience working with GCP (especially Cloud Run)
- English fluency & strong communication skills (especially converting technical information to a non-technical audience)
Desirable
- MSc in a STEM subject
- Developing/deploying/testing RAG systems
- Experience in the digital content or media sector (ideally YouTube).
- Experience mentoring junior team members
