Role Overview: The Account Manager / Business Development Manager will play a key role in growing and developing Electrifire’s customer base while maintaining long-term client relationships. This role combines account management, consultative sales, and business development, with a strong emphasis on service delivery and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities – Account Management:

  • Act as the main liaison between Electrifire and its customers
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Gain a detailed understanding of each client’s sites, systems, requirements, and expectations
  • Ensure a consistently high level of customer service and support
  • Manage existing contracts, including maintenance, remedial works, and system modifications

Key Responsibilities – Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop existing customer accounts by promoting a full fire and security service package
  • Engage with FM companies, property managers, and electrical contractors
  • Identify decision-makers within target organisations

Commercial & Technical Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue quotations for new installations, maintenance, and remedial works
  • Ensure quotations meet agreed margin requirements
  • Provide technical guidance on system design and compliance
  • Work closely with internal office and engineering teams

Skills and Experience – Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the fire and security industry
  • Strong knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems
  • Competent in fire alarm design to BS 5839-1:2025
  • Knowledge of CCTV, intruder, door entry, and access control systems
  • Experience in sales and account management
  • Competent in producing quotations and understanding margins
