Our role Our Innovation Delivery team has a fantastic opportunity for an Innovation Project Manager to join them in Salford. As a Project Manager, you will work alongside internal and external partners to manage the delivery of ground-breaking innovation projects that are part of Electricity North West’s Network Innovation Allowance (NIA) and Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) portfolio. You will be responsible for the technical aspects of project delivery, including specifications, requirements, and deliverables, working closely with the project manager and external partners. What We’re Looking For A minimum of a HNC in a technical/STEM subject Experience in developing and delivering or operating active network systems on electricity distribution systems, with awareness of supporting IT systems and data flows Experience in developing flexibility service contracts and familiarity with them Proven ability to develop technical requirements and specifications for large innovation projects Understanding of DSO transition and technical enablers Knowledge of operational and control systems for HV electricity networks Experience with HV network modelling Knowledge of the RIIO regulatory framework as it applies to innovation Experience working within the UK electricity distribution sector A full UK driving licence What We’re Offering We offer a competitive salary, an annual bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave (increasing with service), a car allowance or company vehicle, private healthcare, discounts via our employee rewards portal, a contributory pension scheme, employee assistance programme, and opportunities for professional development.
