The opportunity
We are looking for a Trainee CAD Technician to join Guardian Electrical Compliance, supporting our field engineers by updating existing electrical schematics and creating new circuit diagrams using AutoCAD 2D. This is a genuine entry-level role. We will teach you everything you need to know — what matters most is curiosity, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn by doing. You will be part of a close-knit team of five, with a friendly, supportive culture where people help each other succeed.
What you’ll be doing
- Producing and updating electrical circuit drawings using AutoCAD 2D
- Working closely with field-based engineers to keep drawings accurate and up to date
- Learning industry standards and best practice around electrical schematics
- Developing your technical skills through hands-on training and formal qualifications
