Are you an experienced leader with deep expertise in the specialist electrical sector? PTSG, the UK’s leading niche specialist services provider, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our Lightning Protection Installation team across London and the South East.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind a profitable, safe, and efficient operation. You’ll ensure the team delivers high-quality service while keeping projects on track and within budget.
About the role:
- As Operations Manager, you won’t just oversee tasks; you will lead people and protect project health in our Installations Lightning Protection division.
- You will bridge the gap between field execution and financial performance.
- Direct the operations team and engineers, ensuring weekly schedules are optimised and work is completed to a high standard.
- Manage the regional budget - from controlling stock and supplier costs to working with the billing team to ensure smooth payments and cash flow.
- Uphold the highest health and safety standards. You will lead safety briefings (Toolbox Talks), investigate any incidents, and ensure all equipment is tested and well-maintained.
- Represent the company at planning and progress meetings, building strong professional relationships through transparency and reliable delivery.
- Oversee the regional vehicle fleet and specialised tools to ensure the team has exactly what is needed to succeed.
