This role involves selling essential compliance services — legal requirements every business needs. You’ll be selling electrical compliance services including EICR, PAT testing, Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Door Surveys.
The Role
- Field-based Business Development role with full ownership of your territory.
- Meeting clients, building relationships, and closing work.
- Generating new business through cold outreach and self-booked appointments.
- Attending meetings from warm leads and internal referrals.
- Building and managing your own pipeline across your territory.
- Selling compliance services that businesses have to have.
- Managing the full sales cycle from first contact through to close.
- Maintaining accurate activity through the CRM system.
- Working closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth handovers.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in B2B field sales / business development.
- Comfortable picking up the phone and creating your own opportunities.
- Strong closing ability and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated — someone who doesn’t need chasing.
- Ideally some understanding of compliance services or electrical/building regulations (nice to have, not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
What You’ll Get
- £40,000 – £48,000 basic salary.
- Uncapped commission (3% on all sales).
- Realistic OTE £48,000 – £55,000+ in year one.
- £250 monthly bonus for first 6 months while you build pipeline.
