Bar Operations

Oversee daily bar operations, from opening to closing, ensuring smooth, efficient service.

Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to maintain optimal stock levels.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Customer Experience

Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for guests, ensuring they receive prompt, friendly service.

Resolve any customer complaints or issues efficiently and professionally.

Develop strategies to engage customers, from drink specials to themed nights and promotions.

Event Management

Coordinate with live music acts, DJs, and event promoters to ensure smooth event execution.

Oversee preparation for busy nights, including staffing, bar setup, and service plans.

Manage sports screenings and match-day promotions to capitalise on peak sports events.

Financial Management

Monitor sales, costs, and profits, implementing strategies to boost revenue (e.g., upselling, promoting high-margin drinks).

Ensure accurate cash handling, end-of-day reconciliation, and adherence to financial procedures.

Set and meet sales targets, manage budgets, and control expenses.

Cocktail & Drinks Menu Development

Work with the team to create and refine our cocktail, beer, and shots menus to reflect current trends and customer preferences.

Keep the drinks list fresh, seasonal, and exciting, while ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.

Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and spirits, with a passion for mixology and current trends.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure during busy shifts and events.

Experience with inventory management, ordering, and supplier negotiations.

Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis.
