We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer Reverse Acquisition & CAD to join our Wireless Transmission team based in Bracknell. This role is focused on managing the technical and administrative processes following the decommissioning of telecoms equipment across UK sites.
You will play a key role in ensuring that all site records, drawings, lease information, and asset data are accurately updated post-decommissioning. This position requires a strong understanding of telecom site infrastructure, alongside experience in CAD systems, documentation control, and asset recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the reverse acquisition process following site decommissioning activities
- Coordinate with field teams to confirm removal of equipment and validate site status
- Update and amend CAD drawings (including site layouts and transmission schematics) to reflect decommissioned equipment
- Ensure all as-built drawings are accurate, up to date, and compliant with client standards
- Review and amend lease agreements and site documentation in line with equipment removal and site changes
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems, ensuring all site data is aligned post-decommissioning
- Track and reconcile removed equipment against asset registers
- Liaise with internal teams including planning, legal, finance, and deployment
- Ensure all documentation is completed and stored correctly within document management systems
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues relating to site data, drawings, or asset recovery
- Proven experience in a telecommunications project engineering or technical coordination role
- Strong understanding of wireless transmission networks and telecom site infrastructure
- Experience with reverse acquisition, decommissioning, or asset recovery processes
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD) and experience updating technical drawings
- Experience working with as-built drawings and site design documentation
- Familiarity with lease agreements and site documentation within telecoms
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and validate complex data
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of UK telecom operators and site standards
- Experience working with document management systems and asset tracking tools
- Understanding of planning, legal, and compliance processes in telecoms
- Experience supporting multi-site or national roll out projects
