Employment Type: 3 month contract with potential to extend. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About Us

The Driver/Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the daily management and coordination of warehouse activities and equipment logistics. The role requires excellent organisation, time management and communication skills to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driver: Running collections/deliveries to sites around the UK
  • Driving various vehicles from small, short wheel vans to Luton Box Vans
  • Maintaining pool vehicles according to schedule
  • Warehouse Assistant: Assist with receiving deliveries and preparing stock for courier collections
  • Stock counts
  • Ensure warehouse remains Health & Safety compliant
  • Booking collections through courier portal
  • Arranging client equipment returns through client portal

Qualifications/Training:

  • Experience working as warehouse assistant or driver
  • First Aid Certification preferable
  • Clean, full UK Driving license essential
  • Experience driving all types of vehicles
  • Computer literate able to use Windows Office

Skills:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a Telecommunications environment desirable but not essential
  • Excellent organisational and prioritization skills

Person Specific:

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised, use initiative and meet strict deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, proactive team player
  • An ability to methodically work through procedures and enjoy quick-fire problem solving
