We urgently require LGV1 Drivers for ongoing Store deliveries, Inter Depot Trunking and Supplier collections based out of our client in Kettering. Both Day and Night shifts are available on an ongoing rostered basis but will include a minimum of 1 weekend day/night shift each week.
Nice clean easy work which consists of Store deliveries, Inter Depot trunking and supplier collections. Trunking to sites nationally and most of the store deliveries are in the Midlands and North. Store deliveries are a mix of Tail Lift deliveries or onto a lifting platform. Drivers will only have to take the cages to the back of the trailer and the store staff will take them from there. Trunking journeys are mainly Drop and Swap.

- Day Rates
- Standard day rate - £20.73ph + Holiday Pay = £23.23ph
- Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holiday - £22.73ph + Holiday Pay = £25.23ph
- Boxing Day - £41.46ph + Holiday Pay = £43.96ph
- Sixth Shift - £22.50ph + Holiday Pay = £25.00ph
- Night Rates
- Standard night rate - £21.98ph + Holiday Pay = £24.63ph
- Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holiday - £23.98ph + Holiday Pay = £26.63ph
- Boxing Day - £43.96ph + Holiday Pay = £43.61ph
- Sixth Shift - £22.50ph + Holiday Pay = £25.00ph
Shift lengths can vary but on average are 9.5hrs, all shifts are guaranteed to be paid a minimum of 8 hours. Immediate starts.
All drivers prior to starting their first shift will attend an assessment & induction to ensure you are fully competent from the start of your first driving shift.
Requirements:
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- Hold a UK driving licence, digital tachograph and CPC card.
- Held your HGV1 licence for a minimum of 2 years.
- Have at least a year's experience driving HGV1 vehicles.
- A flexible attitude to work.
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism required.
- Well presented.
