Position: Qualified Mental Health Social Worker Location: Lancashire Start Date: ASAP Ongoing Pay Rate: £937.50 per week Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm Elect Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join the CAMHS team at a large NHS Trust in West Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a rewarding environment, supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of children and young people with mental health challenges, providing person-centred and holistic care. Conduct comprehensive assessments, care planning, interventions, and reviews in line with CAMHS standards. Use your expertise to contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and deliver effective interventions. Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for service users. Support young people transitioning between services, including discharge planning and follow-ups. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including using RiO or similar systems. Act in line with safeguarding policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people. What Were Looking For: To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria: Social Work Degree or equivalent, with registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working in CAMHS or mental health settings. Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-working skills, with the ability to work under pressure. PMVA and Immediate Life Support Training with valid certificates. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, full immunisation history, and three years of references from senior managers.
