Driving Logistics are looking for Class 2 drivers based in Bristol to work for one of the largest distribution companies within the UK with multiple clients looking for drivers. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

This is a very desirable place to work, we are offering the right LGV 2 drivers an opportunity to obtain regular consistent work by placing you on a rota for 6am starts Tuesday to Saturday each week. Shift lengths can vary, all shifts are guaranteed to be paid a minimum of 8 hours. Average 8-25 deliveries per day depending on the route you're booked for. A Drivers Mate will be with you to navigate and help unload.

All drivers prior to starting their first shift will attend an assessment & induction to ensure you are fully competent from the start of your first driving shift. This role involves heavy lifting as you will be delivering a range of items to residential homes.

Pay rates are as follows:

  • Basic rate £17.90ph + £2.16 holiday pay
  • Overtime after 48 hours £26.84ph + holiday pay
  • Bank Holiday £26.84ph + holiday pay

Criteria:

  • Immediate starts
  • Minimum of 2 years LGV 2 experience.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Hold a UK driving licence, digital tachograph and CPC card.
  • A flexible attitude to work.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism required.
  • Well presented.
  • Good time keeping.
