About Elect Capital

Elect Capital is a fast-scaling SME lender providing working capital loans, business loans, and merchant cash advances to ambitious businesses across the UK, Australia, Canada, and the US. We're built for speed and precision, helping SMEs access the funding they need to grow — without the friction of traditional lending.

Our Mission

To be the go-to funding partner for SMEs globally, combining data-driven credit decisioning with a genuinely human approach to lending.

Our Values: C.O.R.E

  • Challenge – We push boundaries and question the status quo
  • Opportunity – We spot and seize opportunities others miss
  • Resilience – We adapt and keep moving forward, no matter the obstacle
  • Edge – We bring sharp thinking and a competitive instinct to everything we do

The Role

We're looking for a Marketing Executive to own our presence at industry events. You'll be the person who knows exactly which conferences, expos, and broker events matter, gets Elect in the room, and turns that visibility into a steady pipeline of qualified leads. Alongside this, you'll support the wider marketing function with day-to-day execution across campaigns, content, and brand activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritise the right industry events, conferences, and expos across our markets (UK, Australia, Canada, US) for Elect to attend or sponsor
  • Own end-to-end event logistics — from booking and stand design through to on-the-day execution
  • Build and manage a lead capture process at events, ensuring every conversation converts into a tracked, actionable pipeline entry
  • Work with Sales and Partnerships to follow up on event leads and measure ROI on event spend
  • Support broader marketing executive duties — campaign execution, content creation, social media, email marketing, and brand collateral
  • Represent Elect's brand consistently across all external-facing touchpoints
  • Track and report on event performance, lead volume, and pipeline contribution

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in events marketing, ideally within fintech, financial services, or B2B lending
  • A strong network or working knowledge of relevant industry events and conferences
  • Comfortable owning a project end-to-end, from planning through to reporting on results
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple events/campaigns simultaneously
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude — happy to get stuck into broader marketing tasks beyond events
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bonus: experience marketing to brokers, SMEs, or within alternative lending/MCA space

Our Offer

  • Competitive salary + benefits
  • Hybrid working
  • Real ownership and autonomy in a fast-scaling business
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership
  • Clear progression as the marketing function grows
  • A collaborative, ambitious team culture
