ElecMech MEP Ltd is looking for an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our growing business. We deliver electrical and mechanical services across a range of projects and take pride in quality workmanship, reliability and strong client relationships.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a varied role and wants to help the business grow.
The role:
You will undertake plumbing installations, maintenance and repairs, working independently and alongside our electrical and mechanical team to deliver projects safely and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and maintaining hot and cold water systems, sanitaryware, sinks, water heaters and associated pipework.
- Carrying out first and second fix plumbing installations.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
- Reading drawings, planning work and identifying material requirements.
- Testing installations and checking for leaks and correct operation.
- Communicating with clients, site teams and other trades.
- Maintaining a tidy work area and completing relevant job records.
- Following company and site health and safety procedures.
What we’re looking for
- A recognised plumbing qualification, ideally NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
- A reliable, professional approach and good communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
- Gas qualification would be very benificial.
- Experience on commercial projects and qualifications in unvented hot water systems would be an advantage.
