Electrician Trainer/Tutor/NVQ Assessor – Full Time
Salary: £32,500 – £38,000 (based on experience & qualifications)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Full training and teaching qualifications paid for. Are you a qualified electrician looking to step into teaching? Elec Training offers a unique opportunity to become an Electrician Trainer/Tutor/NVQ Assessor with no prior teaching experience required. If you’re passionate about the trade and want to inspire the next generation of electricians, we’ll provide full training and fund your teaching qualifications to help you succeed in your new role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering and supporting Level 2, Level 3, and 18th Edition electrical courses
- Managing learner progress and helping them achieve qualifications
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and professionalism
- Assessor to join our growing team in Wolverhampton. This is a 50/50 split between classroom delivery and NVQ on-site assessments.
Requirements We Are Looking For
- Experienced in domestic, commercial and/or industrial electrical installation
- Qualified with:
- Level 2 & 3 Diplomas
- 18th Edition
- ECS Gold Card
- Driving Licence
Desirable (but not essential)
- IQA certification
- Advanced electrical qualifications (e.g., C&G 2391/2396)
- Green energy knowledge (Solar PV, EV Charging, etc.)
- A drive to mentor others and grow professionally
