Here at Elec Training, we specialise in providing comprehensive electrical training courses for adults. We offer a range of programmes designed to educate and certify individuals in various aspects of electrical work. Elec Training aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the electrical industry.

Salary: £36,500.00 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality technical training across all key electrical disciplines.
  • Manage group learning and ensure progression through each learning journey.
  • Meet performance targets, including success rates and timely attainment of skills and qualifications.
  • Handle all relevant administration for training, assessment, and internal quality assurance.
  • Act as a safety role model and promote a culture of safe working.
  • Represent and promote Elec Training's values and learning culture.
  • Maintain your own CPD, keeping up to date with current and future skills, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure the timely and quality delivery of training.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience in delivering and facilitating technical and theoretical learning programmes.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) across learning environments.
  • Strong technical competence and relevant hands-on experience.
  • Experience managing both group learning and individual support sessions.
  • Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of learning delivery methods.
  • Support learners through classroom coaching and facilitated sessions.
  • Utilise our modern, well-equipped training centres to deliver an exceptional learning experience.
  • Support apprentices and students in their personal and professional development.
  • 50/50 split role: 50% teaching, 50% assessing.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Recent and relevant industry experience in domestic, commercial, and/or industrial electrical installation.
  • Recognised qualifications such as:
  • Level 2 Diploma (C&G 2365-02)
  • 18th Edition Course (C&G 2382-22)
  • Level 3 Diploma (C&G 2365-03)
  • NVQ Level 3 (C&G 2357)
  • JIB Gold Card
  • Desirable (Not Essential):
    • Strong practical skills in electrical installations.
    • Level 3 Assessor qualification or equivalent.
    • Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification or equivalent.
    • Advanced electrical qualifications (e.g., C&G 2391, C&G 2396).
    • Green technology credentials (e.g., Solar PV, EV, EESS).
    • A passion for learning and mentoring others.
