We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team based in the head office located at 1st Floor, Leegate House, Burnt Ash Road, London, SE12 8RG.
As a Bid Writer, you will be part of our dynamic Tenders Team, a brand-new role for coordinating Subject Matter Expert responses from across the broader business in order to write and complete tender proposals within the adult social care sector, specific responses for pre-qualification and tender submissions.
Subject experience is not a priority, and the successful candidate will learn about our business through practical involvement and on-the-job training.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and understanding client specifications and tender documentation.
- Interpreting questions and constructing response templates supporting SMEs.
- Drafting and writing Selection Questionnaires and/or bid submission responses using persuasive and positive language.
- Review and evaluate all tender enquiries/responses for completeness and accuracy. Proofreading final documents prior to submission.
- Maintaining and refining the library of existing content.
- Maintaining an awareness of regulation and legislation development, preferably with CQC experience. Management and refinement of the pre-existing library of past tender responses.
- Market research into target geographies and competitor analysis.
Experience / Skills
- A proven track record in bid writing.
- Graduate (BA/MA) in English, History, Creative Writing or similar.
- Passion for writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal English.
- Confident in their ability to work in a team and autonomously.
- Excellent organisational skills/being able to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Takes pride in their role and contribution.
