The Opportunity
Our client is an award-winning home care provider with an Outstanding CQC rating, and they are looking for a Senior Care Coordinator who is ready to step up into a Senior Care Coordinator role. They are not looking for a finished article — they are looking for someone with the right foundation, the right attitude, and the drive to grow into the position. Based in Stanmore, you will work alongside the Care Manager to lead daily service delivery, develop a team of Care Professionals, and help maintain the high standards that have earned this organisation its outstanding reputation.
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting the Care Manager in overseeing day-to-day care delivery
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of Care Professionals
- Conducting home visits, care assessments, and quality checks
- Building strong, lasting relationships between clients and their carers
- Writing and reviewing personalised care plans
- Ensuring all care records are accurate, compliant, and CQC-ready
- Liaising with families, GPs, and healthcare professionals
- Handling concerns professionally and with genuine empathy
- Joining the on-call rota and providing operational support
What You Will Bring
- Experience as a Senior Care Coordinator or similar role in home care
- A natural ability to lead, support, and get the best from people
- Solid understanding of CQC standards and care compliance
- Strong organisational skills and a calm head under pressure
- Excellent communication — with clients, families, and your team
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or actively working towards it)
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
