About the Role
Eleanor Banks Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Team Leader to join a well-established Supported Living service in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role in supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered while leading and developing a dedicated support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Support Workers on a day-to-day basis.
- Conduct regular staff supervisions and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Promote person-centred care and positive outcomes for the people you support.
- Assist with rota planning and staffing levels.
- Support with care planning, risk assessments and support reviews.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and company policies.
- Complete audits, incident reports and accurate care documentation.
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
- Participate in the on-call rota where required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a Supported Living environment.
- Experience carrying out staff supervisions is essential.
- Experience leading or mentoring support staff.
- Good knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
