We are looking for a results-driven Production Manager to take full ownership of multiple production cells within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability, people leadership and operational excellence. You will lead skilled teams and be fully accountable for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People performance, driving standards through disciplined leadership and uncompromising accountability.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Safety
- Own and maintain a safe working environment compliant with HSE regulations and ISO45001
- Drive an engaging, continuously improving safety culture
- Ensure the shop floor is clean, tidy and organised (5S)
- Actively reduce accidents, close near misses promptly, and lead by example
- Quality
- Take full ownership of quality performance cell by cell
- Ensure NCRs are raised at the point of discovery—no delays, no workarounds
- Hold individuals accountable for workmanship and process adherence
- Lead root cause investigations and eliminate repeat issues
- Address poor quality performance directly and decisively
- Cost & Productivity
- Own productivity and cost performance at cell level
- Challenge ineffective manning, poor utilisation and unproductive behaviours
- Ensure accurate and timely Epicor bookings
- Maintain high standards of asset care and equipment reliability
- Deliver productivity and efficiency in line with budget
- Delivery
- Be accountable for delivery performance across all assigned cells
- Ensure Cell Leaders are aligned, prepared and fully resourced
- Challenge missed targets immediately and implement corrective actions
- Do not accept ongoing arrears without clear recovery plans
- Take accountability for production sign-off and daily output rates
- People Leadership
- Set clear, measurable expectations for every role
- Challenge poor performance and behaviours early and consistently
- Manage absence actively with meaningful return-to-work conversations
- Build a high-performance culture where ownership and accountability are non-negotiable
What We’re Looking For
- Essential Experience & Knowledge
- Proven experience in a similar Production / Manufacturing Manager role
- Demonstrated success leading people in a multi-line manufacturing environment
- Strong track record of driving quality, productivity and delivery
- Experience managing sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance issues
- Confident managing KPIs and making real-time decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- High level of safety awareness and operational discipline
- Computer literate with a structured, organised approach
