Eldwick Law is looking to recruit a foreign-qualified lawyer to join our growing commercial litigation and international disputes practice in London.
We are a boutique disputes firm recognised by Chambers UK and The Legal 500, acting on complex, high-value and often cross-border matters before the English courts and in international arbitration.
We are particularly interested in hearing from lawyers qualified in Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
The Role
The successful candidate will work directly with our solicitors on a broad range of contentious matters, including:
- Commercial litigation and contractual disputes
- Civil fraud and asset recovery
- Shareholder and corporate disputes
- International arbitration and cross-border enforcement
- Sanctions-related disputes and investigations
The role will involve substantive legal research, drafting legal documents, including witness statements, correspondence, and opinions, preparing applications, analysing evidence and working closely with partners at Eldwick and counsel.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Is qualified as a lawyer in a common law jurisdiction (preferably Australia, New Zealand or South Africa)
- Has experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
- Possesses excellent written English and strong analytical skills
- Is confident undertaking complex legal research and drafting
- Is commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in a small team
Experience of English High Court litigation would be advantageous but is not essential.
