Location: Manchester office, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (5 days in office)
Salary: Up to ÂŁ28,000
Commission: Uncapped £10–20k OTE in year 1 (linked to client retention & account growth)
Progression opportunities: Grow number of accounts managed, progression into leadership or client directorship role.
Responsibilities
- Manage 2–4 client accounts
- Spend approx. 75% of time on outbound sales activity
- Spend approx. 25% of time conducting client meetings, campaign management and supporting data‑driven tasks
- In future, AMs may specialize in specific sectors
Client Accounts
- Vary across many sectors: marketing, SaaS, construction
- Meetings performed on Teams; client meetings may be in person in future
- In time, AMs may specialize by sector
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of B2B cold‑calling experience
- Comfortable with high outbound activity and prospecting
- No prior Account Manager experience needed; this could be a step‑up
- Self‑starter with ability to book meetings independently
- Consultative sales style, strong sales processes, solution sales approach
- Strong sales methodologies and proactive self‑development in sales (books, podcasts etc.) – big bonus
- Not suitable for transactional sellers focused on price vs pain points
