Location: South Croydon, CR2 8DH
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and alternate between working Saturday and Sunday (30 hours a week; 8am – 3pm)
Salary: £14.29 per hour (rising to £14.79 per hour after a successful probation of 6 months)

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team. If you have experience, we want to hear from you!
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare a wide range of dishes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
- A passion for cooking and creating innovative meal options for customers.
- Food Safety Level 2 or 3, with a willingness to take more training.
- At least 1 years’ experience as a Cook.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the development of new menu items, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency across all dishes.
- Assist with special events or catering services as required.
