Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, you will play a key role in leading and managing the team to ensure we deliver an efficient and customer-focused service across all areas of maintenance, repairs, investment and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- a strong working knowledge of building regulations and construction best practice
- knowledge of the Scottish Housing Regulator’s technical performance requirements
- the ability to manage projects, contractors and suppliers effectively
- an effective understanding of health and safety in line with statutory and regulatory obligations
- experience in managing budgets ensuring value for money is achieved in all aspects of asset management and service delivery
- excellent analytical and IT skills
- the ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors and all relevant stakeholders
- experience in leading and motivating a team to deliver services consistent with our organisational values
