At Eldercare, our purpose is simple but powerful: to deliver peace of mind with our care.

About the role:

  • Conveniently located in Eastwood with onsite undercover parking

  • Work within a supportive and collaborative team environment

We are seeking someone with excellent customer service and administrative skills to hit the ground running. As a natural problem solver, you will prioritise competing rostering needs to ensure each of our 13 residential aged care sites are adequately staffed to provide quality care. You will be responsible for taking unplanned leave calls from staff, processing their leave and finding coverage for the now vacant shift. In partnership with the Site Managers, you will monitor critical unfilled shifts and work with them to develop solutions that sometimes require out of the box thinking.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive administration experience in a similar fast paced role

  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to assess, prioritise and deliver to the needs of multiple stakeholders

  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills with demonstrated negotiation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience in a rostering environment will be highly regarded (but not essential)

  • Flexibility to work across both AM and PM shifts, and willingness to work at short notice (Students with flexible study schedules strongly encouraged to apply)

If you want to join our inspiring team, we can offer you:

  • Attractive staff benefits such as salary packaging

  • An opportunity to contribute to the care and quality of life for our residents

  • Great team environment with variety in the role

  • Modern facility with onsite parking

Eldercare encourages you to apply if you are a committed and results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes whilst modelling the behaviours underpinning Eldercare's values of respect, accountability and connection.
