Join Eldercare as a Lifestyle Program Coordinator at the Eldercare Head Office, Eastwood. This is a part-time position (0.8FTE) with flexible days, preferably Fridays.

About the Role
The Lifestyle Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction, quality, and impact of Eldercare’s Lifestyle Program. This position leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Lifestyle services across all Eldercare sites, ensuring they reflect best practice, align with Eldercare’s wellbeing strategy, and uphold the foundational Approaches of the Eldercare Model of Care. Working closely with the General Manager Wellbeing and Allied Programs, the Lifestyle Program Coordinator drives strategic refinement of the Lifestyle program, establishes strong governance systems, and ensures consistent, high-quality practice through organisational processes and professional development of Lifestyle staff. The role is highly collaborative, partnering with Wellbeing, Volunteer and Operations Program teams, Site Operations Managers, clinical staff, and external organisations to maximise resident participation and wellbeing. Central to the role is promoting resident-led engagement across Eldercare’s four key activity themes - Active Body, Healthy Mind, Connection, and Create - and ensuring Lifestyle opportunities are inclusive, meaningful, and responsive to diverse resident needs.
What You Will Bring
- Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Healthy Ageing, or an equivalent field
- A deep commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of older people
- An ability to bring a fresh perspective to site-based lifestyle and wellbeing programs, applying contemporary evidence about what supports older people to live well
- An ability to recruit, train, and lead a high performing team of Wellbeing Consultants
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to enable collaboration and support change
