Overview
The Sales Manager is expected to identify and maximise business development opportunities within the UK and Ireland market, promoting Ariston Group’s Burner Division brands, Ecoflam and Elco, by effectively networking and demonstrating strong sales leads through effective collaboration with customers nationally. The core objective will be to increase sales revenue within the burners market, managing internal and external stakeholders, leveraging sales experience and industry knowledge to expand the network, delivering an increase in sales revenue.
Job responsibilities
- Building and maintaining contacts with existing and potential customers, including OEMs, distributors and service partners
- Identifying and capturing new business opportunities for Ecoflam & Elco products and services
- Providing sales quotations to the customers and supporting all customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
- Developing and executing sales strategies & plans to achieve business objectives (profitability, market share, growth rate, etc.)
- Generating new commercial and marketing strategy to success in further growth of Ecoflam & Elco brands within the UK & Ireland, capitalizing positive experience and brands awareness
- Managing product portfolio in relation to the market needs and legislation requirements
- Monitoring business performances through the control of sales and service/after-market activities
- Providing monthly reports on sales performance, market analysis, forecast updates, customer needs, etc
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities
- Visiting customers, attending events, trade association meetings and exhibitions
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Engineering is desired
- Experience in combustion sector (heating and process)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales
- Familiarity with B2B and B2C markets
- Background oriented in a semi-durable goods market (pre and after-sales approach)
- Business acumen; Ability to read the market and propose new approaches and solutions
- Analytical, conceptual, and strategic planning abilities
