Your Mission – What You'll Do
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for the Sports vertical in the UK, you'll be at the forefront of our growth efforts. You'll play a key role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities with sports clubs, venues, and event organizers. This role is perfect for someone with a "hunter mindset" — driven, curious, and ready to learn. You'll collaborate closely with the UK Account Executive and Marketing team to build pipeline and support SecuTix's continued success in the sports industry.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new business opportunities within the UK sports market
- Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce SecuTix and spark interest
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule discovery calls and demos for the Account Executive
- Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns and events to generate quality leads
- Maintain accurate lead and activity records in Salesforce
- Contribute ideas to improve outreach, messaging, and engagement strategies
Who You Are
You're a motivated and energetic individual eager to grow in B2B tech sales. You enjoy connecting with people, understanding their needs, and helping them see value in new solutions.
You Bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales or lead generation role (preferably in SaaS or sports/entertainment)
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
- A proactive, goal‐oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Resilience and persistence — you're comfortable with outreach and follow‐ups
- Interest in sports, live entertainment, or technology‐driven fan engagement
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
