ELC Sales & Lettings is an established residential property business managing a substantial portfolio across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. We operate with a structured Property Management team, supported by dedicated Maintenance and Accounts departments, allowing our Property Managers to focus on delivering a high standard of service to landlords and tenants.

This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive and organised individual who enjoys managing a portfolio, resolving day-to-day issues, and building strong relationships with landlords and tenants.

The Role

As Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties. You will work closely with landlords, tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure properties are managed efficiently, issues are resolved promptly, and service standards are maintained. This role focuses on organisation, communication, and consistent case management rather than complex legal escalation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of residential properties
  • Handling day-to-day tenancy matters and queries from landlords and tenants
  • Coordinating maintenance issues with the dedicated Maintenance team
  • Ensuring timely communication and updates to landlords and tenants
  • Managing tenancy documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Supporting tenancy progression from move-in through to check-out
  • Assisting with deposit matters where required
  • Maintaining accurate records and property management systems
  • Delivering a consistent and professional level of service
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in residential property management or a similar role
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with both landlords and tenants
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Takes ownership of their work and follows issues through to resolution
  • Works well within a team environment
  • Is keen to develop within a structured and supportive business
Essential Experience
  • Experience in residential property management or lettings
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience dealing with customers or clients
  • Basic understanding of tenancy processes and compliance
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable
  • Knowledge of Scottish residential tenancy legislation
  • Experience using property management systems (SME Professional, Fixflo, or similar)
  • ARLA Propertymark qualification (or working towards)
