Temporary Team Administrator Support – City of London | 6-Month Contract

We are currently recruiting for a professional and detail-oriented Team Administrator to join a prestigious bank based in the City of London. This is a minimum 6-month contract, with potential for extension, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a world-class financial environment.

Location : City of London

Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (initial 6 months)

Hybrid Working : Office-based initially; up to 2 days WFH after first 2 months

Salary : Competitive, depending on experience

Hours : 45 hours per week including paid breaks

About the Role

This temporary administrator role is a key administrative support role covering the bank’s Physical Security, Health & Safety, and Travel departments. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll play an important part in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across departments, including diary management, meeting coordination, minute taking, data collation, and reporting
  • Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate departmental information and actions
  • Manage procurement and process invoices from various suppliers
  • Assist with audits, document control, and preparation for certification
  • Support the implementation of Health & Safety training programmes and collate incident statistics
  • Produce clear and concise documentation, including slide packs for senior management
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects and operational requests as required

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven administration experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate or financial setting (minimum 1 year)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Professional attitude and a proactive, flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Discreet, reliable, and committed to high standards of service

Desirable:

  • Experience in security, facilities, or health & safety environments
  • Previous coordination or project support experience
