We are recruiting a Receptionist / Front of House (FOH) professional to join a busy, high-quality workspace environment in Bristol. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the face of the business, delivering excellent service, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a professional centre.
You will play a key role at the front desk, working closely with the Centre Operations Manager to ensure the centre is welcoming, well organised, and operating safely and efficiently.
The RoleAs the first point of contact for members and visitors, you will be responsible for creating a warm, professional first impression while supporting front-of-house, hospitality, and operational tasks across the centre.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to members and visitors
- Sort post and scan documentation
- Act as the first point of contact in person, by phone, and via email
- Build strong professional relationships with members and guests
- Support hospitality, events, and daily front-of-house activity
- Maintain a polished, organised reception and communal areas
- Support the Centre Operations Manager with day-to-day centre operations
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
- Anticipate customer needs and contribute to the smooth running of daily activities
- Friendly, professional, and confident at front-of-house
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently while also being a team player
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliable, proactive, and naturally customer-focused
- Previous reception, front-of-house, or customer service experience is essential
- Hospitality or customer-facing experience is highly desirable
- Confident using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Minimum Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
