We are recruiting for a Bank Receptionist to support a busy Healthcare Provider in Plaistow East London, providing professional and welcoming front-of-house cover. This is an ongoing temporary role for the Monday night shift 22:00-06:00; there may be opportunities for extra shifts during peak holiday and sickness periods.
You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a high standard of customer service, security, and administration.
Key Duties:- Greet patients and visitors in a calm and professional manner
- Manage reception desk, access control, and visitor sign-in procedures
- Answer and transfer calls via the switchboard
- Support emergency and incident procedures when required
- Complete general administrative tasks and maintain tidy reception areas
- Previous receptionist or customer-facing experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident IT skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Reliable and flexible for bank shifts, including short-notice cover
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR
- Right to Work in the UK and able to pass DBS check
- DBS Level 1/Basic
- NHS or healthcare experience
- Experience supporting Mental Health services
Shifts & Hours: Monday nights ongoing night shift hours 22:00-06:00. Same pay rate for all shifts 06:00-14:00 | 14:00-22:00 | 22:00-06:00. Candidates should be open to working 2/3 shift patterns where sickness or annual leave cover may be requested.
Immediate start subject to paid induction days being completed. Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom; we are unable to support visa applications.
