Job Description

Group Risk & Healthcare Consultant / Employee Benefits Consultant

Semi-rural| Hybrid working (Monday & Friday from home)

Up to £47,000 + Private Medical Insurance + Life Cover + Career Support

A genuinely supportive firm with real career progression

We're working with a well-established, award-winning financial services company that’s known for its friendly culture and focus on doing the right thing — for clients and for colleagues.

Due to continued growth, their Group Risk & Healthcare team is looking for a knowledgeable and personable Consultant to join them. You’ll play a key role in helping employers and employees get the most from their company benefits – such as Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Dental Insurance.

Whether you’re already working in a similar consulting role or you’re a Senior Administrator ready to take the next step, this could be a brilliant career move with plenty of support and opportunity to grow.

What’s in it for you?

  • Up to £47,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working: Monday and Friday from home once you’ve passed probation
  • Private medical insurance & life cover
  • Encouragement and support to study qualifications such as GR1
  • A collaborative and respectful team culture, where people stay and progress
  • A beautiful, rural office location with excellent on-site facilities including a café serving fabulous food and drinks, an onsite swimming pool, gardens and outside spaces

As “Group Risk & Healthcare Consultant” you will be:

  • Supporting and advising clients
  • Reviewing and comparing Group Risk & Healthcare policies
  • Requesting and analysing terms from the market and providers
  • Producing clear reports with recommendations (Excel-based)
  • Presenting options to clients (face-to-face or remotely)
  • Managing scheme documentation and insurer instructions

Ongoing scheme management

  • Being a key point of contact for client and member queries
  • Staying informed on industry developments and market changes
  • Maintaining strong relationships with providers
  • Handling scheme renewals and issuing invoices where required

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in Group Risk, Healthcare Insurance, or Employee Benefits
  • Or, a strong Senior Administrator with tri-skilled knowledge looking to step up
  • GR1 qualification is ideal – or you’ll be happy to study it (full support provided)
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
  • Confident with Excel and comfortable producing reports and recommendations
