Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Home-based with regular travel to client sites as required
Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor delivering ground engineering solutions to the built environment. This role focuses on growing the business in South Wales and building trusted relationships with homeowners and professional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the region
- Conduct site assessments and provide expert advice on engineering solutions
- Design technical solutions based on survey data
- Prepare quotes and follow up to secure orders
- Ensure seamless handover to the operations team for project delivery
- Provide after-sales support and resolve any client issues
- Maintain accurate records using the CRM system
- Meet and exceed sales targets
Qualifications
- Demonstrable sales experience in technical, engineering, construction, or other relevant sectors across the built environment
- A relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or surveying
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with virtual tools and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Target-driven mindset with a proactive approach
