Due to continued growth, regional expansion, and a strong forward order book, our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver specialist piling and underpinning projects across the Midlands/North region of England.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected contractor known for delivering technically complex engineering solutions across multiple sectors.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery - from planning to completion. You’ll ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of piling, underpinning, and ground stabilisation projects.
  • Develop project plans, programmes, and resource schedules.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and procurement activities.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
  • Champion Health & Safety standards and ensure all RAMS, permits, and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, stakeholders, and the wider team.
  • Provide accurate project reporting, progress updates, and risk assessments.
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to operational excellence.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience managing piling, underpinning, or ground engineering projects.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and coordination skills.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A solid understanding of construction H&S regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
