We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Building Inspector to join a growing Building Control team, playing a key role in ensuring buildings are safe, compliant, and built to high standards. In this role, you’ll carry out site inspections at various stages of construction, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation. You’ll work closely with architects, developers, and contractors, providing expert guidance and helping deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable projects. You’ll also be responsible for producing detailed reports and compliance documentation, advising on regulatory requirements, and supporting clients with technical expertise throughout the build process.

What we’re looking for:

  • Professionally qualified (RICS, CABE or equivalent) or qualified by experience
  • Registered Building Inspector (or working towards) at an appropriate level
  • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
