Job Duties:
- Responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and storage of products and materials within warehouse and stockyard areas.
- Prepare and pick orders using a batch-based inventory system, maintaining accuracy against picking paperwork.
- Process incoming goods and recording delivery notes.
- Retrieve and prepare stock for internal customers upon request.
- Perform daily forklift checks and operate equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
- Maintain clear roadways and correct storage of product to preserve quality.
- Complete daily housekeeping routines within the warehouse.
- Label products for final customer delivery accurately and clearly.
- Conduct regular stock level checks in line with monthly targets.
- Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies, including audits, inspections, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (essential).
- VNA truck experience (training can be provided).
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or production environment.
- Understanding of ERP and stock control systems.
- Flexible to cover additional duties and staff holidays within the team.
- Self-motivated and adaptable with a proactive attitude to learning.
- Good numeracy skills and basic computer literacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Salary: £27,496 Per Annum.
Working hours: 6am – 2pm, 10am – 6pm & 2pm – 10pm. This is a Full time, Permanent position.
