You will use your engineering expertise to generate detailed production information, conduct structural design checks, and liaise with clients to translate their requirements into deliverable projects. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Experience in an engineering or fabrication environment. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Knowledge of BS EN 40 or previous experience in the lighting industry (preferred but not essential). * Degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (essential). * CAD drawing or 3D modeling experience (advantageous but not essential). * Excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities: * Assist and support the sales and design teams. * Generate detailed production information and bills of materials for manufacturing. * Create DXF files for CNC profiling using AutoCAD. * Liaise with the design department to translate customer specifications into detailed designs. * Conduct structural design checks using in-house software to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. * Attend meetings with customers to discuss company deliverables and future goals. * Represent the company at industry-related exhibitions.
