Technical Sales Engineer & Estimator

Due to continued expansion, we’re recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Engineer & Estimator to join our well-established client.
Job Duties:
- Creating accurate estimates and quotations within requested timescales.
- Assisting and supporting the sales team.
- Customer liaison.
- Occasional attendance to site and customer facilities for enquiry or project discussion when required.
- Occasional attendance to industry-related exhibitions as part of the sales team.
- To partake in suitable training when required.
- CAD drawing / 3D Modelling experience.
- Such other comparable duties as may be required by the Sales Director.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of estimating in an engineering environment.
- Previous experience in a technical sales and customer service environment.
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and convert them into estimates / quotations.
- Personable, presentable, and articulate.
- A sound understanding of sales principles.
- Computer proficient.
- Strong administration, organisation, and communication skills.
- A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (not essential but an advantage).
- CAD drawing / 3D Modelling experience (not essential but an advantage).
Salary: GBP30,000 Per Annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm.
This is a Full-time, Permanent position.
