Production Manager Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per year Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of production across a busy engineering/manufacturing site. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on production delivery, LEAN improvement, efficiency and team performance. You’ll be responsible for keeping production on schedule while driving measurable improvements across the operation. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily production across multiple shifts Deliver production plans, quality and OTIF targets Drive LEAN improvements, including 5S, SMED, TPM and visual management Improve OEE, changeover times, scrap and labour efficiency Lead and develop supervisors, team leaders and operators Manage production KPIs, budgets and continuous improvement projects Work closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality and Purchasing Champion health, safety and quality standards Requirements: Proven experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager or similar Engineering, metalwork, machining, fabrication or precision manufacturing background Strong track record of delivering measurable LEAN improvements Experience managing multiple shifts and production teams Confident using ERP/MRP systems and production data Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and health
