Press Brake & Guillotine Operator
Location: South Kirkby
Salary: £16.23 – £17.38 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced Press Brake & Guillotine Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in South Kirkby. You will operate metalworking machinery to prepare components for fabrication and finishing, ensuring accuracy, quality and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate press brakes, guillotines, CNC plasma cutters and band saws.
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings to calculate cutting sizes.
- Set up machinery and inspect finished components.
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace.
Requirements
- Experience operating relevant metalworking machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
Working Hours
Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm & Friday: 7:00am–1:00pm
40 hours per week
