We’re recruiting for a Specifications & Systems Assistant to join a busy food manufacturing environment, supporting the Technical Team with food safety, quality, compliance and product specifications. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone with previous experience in food manufacturing, technical or quality environments, who is confident working with specifications, supplier information, regulatory documentation and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain customer, internal and raw material specifications.
  • Manage product data, technical documentation and compliance records.
  • Support customer and supplier queries, SAQs and technical requests.
  • Monitor changes to legislation and customer requirements.
  • Ensure technical information is accurate, up to date and compliant.
  • Support traceability, product launches and continuous improvement projects.
  • Work closely with the wider Technical and Product Development teams.

About You

  • Previous experience within food manufacturing is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and quality management systems.
  • Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP desirable.
  • Higher education qualification desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Benefits

  • Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30
