Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Pembridge, Herefordshire Salary: £51,147 per annum (including 36% shift allowance) Shift: 42 hours per week – Panama shift pattern Job Type: Permanent We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Pembridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a permanent role with a strong salary and excellent benefits package. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement, ensuring plant and equipment remain safe, reliable and productive. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults Carry out planned, preventative and predictive maintenance Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions Minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Work with PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Complete maintenance records and handovers accurately Support safe working practices across the site Skills & Experience: Apprentice-trained with City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent engineering qualification 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience PLC experience is desirable Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Basic fabrication skills Experience working in hazardous/flammable environments is desirable Strong understanding of planned and predictive maintenance Experience carrying out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Good IT and maintenance management/CMMS skills Safety-conscious with a strong commitment to H&S What’s on Offer? £51,147 per annum, including 36% shift allowance Handover time paid at 1.5x overtime rate 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Option to buy/sell annual leave Contributory pension scheme 4x salary life assurance Employee Assistance Programme Cycle to Work scheme Discounted healthcare Enhanced maternity, paternity & adoption leave Service recognition rewards If you're a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure, well-paid permanent opportunity with excellent benefits, we'd love to hear from you.
