Maintenance Engineer Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer? Do you want to work for a well established business? Do you want career progression opportunities? If so, APPLY NOW! Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our well established client. Responsibilities: Working safely at all times, escalating issues that present a hazard to yourself or others including all persons on site or members of the public. Following company / local site rules and adherence to company values. Respond to breakdowns, systematically find faults, identify root cause and then implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Carry out planned maintenance and identify continuous improvements to increase equipment efficiency. Work with production, support groups and suppliers to implement improvement opportunities to increase equipment efficiency and safety and reduce engineering downtime. Identify and implement improvements to equipment to increase process robustness and reliability. Requirements: Multi-skilled to some degree with credible, demonstrable electrical and / or mechanical experience in an industrial environment. Qualified Mechanic / Electrical / Multiskilled having served a recognised apprenticeship. Pneumatics, hydraulics demonstrable on the job experience is a requirement. Minimum NVQ level 3 / BTEC / City & Guilds. Experience & understanding of an automated process environment is essential. PLC / Scada / Controls understanding & experience.
