We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a fast-paced, growing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for production performance, people, quality, safety and delivery. You will oversee the full manufacturing process, driving efficiency and ensuring customer demand is met through strong planning, team leadership and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily production operations and deliver the production plan against customer demand.
- Manage teams across CNC machining, manufacturing, painting and assembly.
- Drive OTIF, OEE, RFT and plan adherence across the operation.
- Lead daily Tier meetings and establish a strong SIC (Short Interval Control) drumbeat.
- Identify and resolve production issues, delays, defects and bottlenecks.
- Work closely with Quality and Technical teams to investigate and eliminate recurring issues.
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage labour, materials and production costs effectively.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics to maintain smooth operations.
- Oversee machinery maintenance and minimise downtime.
- Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality and operational discipline.
- Monitor and report production KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
About You:
You will be an experienced Production Manager or Senior Production Supervisor with a strong background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a proven ability to improve operational performance.
Essential:
- Proven experience managing manufacturing teams and production operations.
- Strong understanding of production planning and performance management.
- Demonstrable experience improving OTIF, OEE, RFT, scrap and efficiency.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
- Proactive, resilient and commercially aware.
Experience with door manufacturing, CNC machinery or automated production environments would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is desirable.

- You will be accountable for delivering improvements across:
- Production output vs target.
- OTIF and plan adherence.
- RFT, defects and rework.
- OEE and machine downtime.
- Labour and material efficiency.
- Waste and cost reduction.
