The Opportunity
We're recruiting for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with logistics or transport planning experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an efficient logistics operation.
The Role
- Planning and coordinating daily and weekly transport and dispatch schedules.
- Managing inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Optimising transport routes and vehicle utilisation.
- Liaising with production, procurement, customers and transport providers.
- Monitoring transport costs and logistics KPIs.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensuring compliance with transport and health & safety standards.
About You
Essential:
- Previous experience in logistics, transport planning or transport operations within manufacturing.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Sage 200 or a similar ERP system.
Desirable:
- CPC qualification.
- FLT Licence.
